1Open checkout

When a service is done but not paid, the card gets an amber dashed outline, and the toolbar shows Unpaid 1. Click Mike’s card, then Checkout in the details.

2Reading the bill

The checkout window has the bill on the left: each service, therapist and amount. The right side is for collecting: amount due, discounts, tip and how to pay. The bill stays on the left while the right side moves through the steps.

3Packages apply automatically

Mike has a foot reflexology package. It was selected automatically when checkout opened, so that service costs nothing today. Open it to see sessions left and the expiry date, or switch back to the regular price.

4Part-pay with a gift card

Mike also wants to pay part with a gift card. Click + Discount · coupon · gift card and choose Gift card. Enter the card number and PIN, then click Validate card. The amount to apply fills in from the balance. The gift card covers $30, so $20 is left to collect with the method below.

Stores, clients and amounts in the tutorials are demo data. Some features need a particular plan or must be turned on for your store; the tutorial says so when it comes up. Didn’t find an answer? See the FAQ · contact us

5Tips

The tip is asked once. By default the guest picks it on the reader; if they tip in cash, use the right-hand box and enter the amount.

6Card or cash

For cash, click Cash, check the total and confirm. Mike is paying by card today. Click Card, confirm the reader, then click Start reader · $20.00. The customer picks a tip and taps the card on the reader. Once it goes through, this screen moves on by itself.

7Paid

Payment done: gift card plus card, with the $4 tip chosen on the reader recorded on the ticket. While the customer is still here, click Book Next to book the next visit. Click Done. On the calendar, Mike’s card now shows a green check mark: paid. That’s the full checkout: packages applied automatically, gift cards, tips, and card or cash. Next up: customers.
