1Where membership settings live

Membership plans live in System Settings: under Store & Operations in the left rail, click Membership. Only the owner and admins can see it; front desk staff and therapists can’t. This page only handles paid VIP plans and their benefits. Each service’s own member price is set in Service Items, and points are in the Marketing Assistant. Until you add a plan, the front desk can only pick how long a VIP lasts. Nothing is charged, and there’s no auto-renew.

2Create a plan

Click Add plan. Start with a plan name, such as Gold Monthly. The billing interval goes up to 12 months, or up to 3 years. Enter 13 and saving shows an error, so change it back to 1. Amount per period is what each charge takes. Enter $49.

3Set member benefits

Below are the member benefits, all optional. Balance credit per period: after each successful charge, this amount goes into the member’s balance. It carries over and never expires. Service discount: $10 off, only in the categories you tick. It’s compared with the service’s own member price, and the cheaper one is used; they don’t stack. Free add-ons are set by service length: a 60 to 90 minute service gets 1 free add-on, and it’s the highest-priced one. You can also set a minimum term and a cancellation notice, or leave them blank. Remember the yellow note: an order paid with balance gets no other member benefits. Click Save. A new row appears with the billing interval, the amount and Enabled.

Stores, clients and amounts in the tutorials are demo data. Some features need a particular plan or must be turned on for your store; the tutorial says so when it comes up. Didn’t find an answer? See the FAQ · contact us

4Sign up a member at the front desk

Back on the customer’s page, click Set as VIP next to her name. When the store has no enabled plan, this shows five durations and charges nothing, as in the Customers lesson. Now that a plan is enabled, you see plan cards instead, and the fee is collected right away. Choose Gold Monthly; the payment method defaults to cash. Turn on Auto-renew, use the customer’s saved card and tick her consent. When the membership expires, Kuee charges the same plan for the next period. Click Collect $49.00 and enroll and Emily is a VIP. Because she paid for a plan, the discount and free add-ons apply right away, and the first $20 balance credit is added now. Members enrolled by hand with only an expiry date and no plan get just each service’s member price.

5Member pricing at checkout

A month or so later, the first auto-renew charge has gone through. Emily comes in for a full body massage with hot stones. At checkout, there’s a VIP badge next to her name. The full body massage is normally $90 and gets $10 off; the hot stones add-on is free. The totals below show a separate member benefits line. On the right is the member balance: $20 added at sign-up and $20 at renewal, $40 in all, which can pay for the visit. But once any balance is used, the order goes back to the regular price, with no member price, discount or free add-ons.

6Pause, edit and turn off

In the VIP dialog you can see the member balance and its history. If the customer wants to stop, click Cancel membership or Stop auto-renew, and no more charges are made at expiry. If the customer needs a break, click Pause: with no end date, or until a set day. While paused there’s no VIP pricing and no charge, and the expiry date moves back when she resumes. To change a plan, click Edit. Existing members keep renewing at their original price, but changes to the benefits apply to them right away. To stop selling a plan, switch it off. The front desk won’t see it when signing people up, but existing members keep renewing and keep their benefits. Plans can be turned off, not deleted. That covers membership plans: creating a plan, setting benefits, signing up at the front desk, member pricing at checkout, and editing, turning off and pausing.
