Word for word with the voiceover, so you can search, copy and read at your own pace.
1Where payment settings live
Payment settings live in System Settings: under Store & Operations in the left rail, click Payment Settings. Six sub-pages open below it, from Overview to Pricing. Only the owner and admins can see this. When front desk staff open System Settings, Payment Settings isn’t in the list. Overview starts with your payment status: who processes your cards, and whether it says Accepting Payments. Below are today’s revenue and count, then four cards that open each sub-page. Stores on Stripe also see an orange card at the bottom for applying to Fiserv processing, with pricing quoted per store. You keep taking payments with Stripe while you apply.
▶ Play from this scene2Connect a payment account
If the store has no payment account yet, Payment Channel shows this card. Click Connect Stripe to go to Stripe and enter your business and bank details. When you finish and come back to Kuee, the top of the page says Account setup successful! and the card shows Accepting Payments. Your payment account is now connected. Below are the business name, account email, country and settlement. The settlement period comes from your Stripe account; this store settles T+2. Open Stripe dashboard opens the Stripe dashboard in a new tab. If details are missing, this turns into a yellow “Your Stripe account isn't fully set up” panel that lists what’s needed. Click Continue Setup to finish on Stripe; you can’t take card payments until then.
▶ Play from this scene3Add a card reader
Open Readers and click Add Reader. There are just two fields: the registration code from the reader or the Stripe Dashboard, and a name you’ll recognize. Once added, it appears in the list with its model, serial number and Online. The store address Stripe needs is filled in automatically from your store info. To rename it, click Edit, then Save. If the status looks wrong, click Refresh status at the top right to sync again.
Stores, clients and amounts in the tutorials are demo data. Some features need a particular plan or must be turned on for your store; the tutorial says so when it comes up. Didn’t find an answer? See the FAQ · contact us
